Platter

A large, lightweight serving platter with cut flutes around the fiddle and a bare rim showing the toasty golden-brown clay beneath. A few dark flecks of iron-bearing basalt in the clay show softly through the opaque white celadon glaze. 

Reduction fired in a gas kiln.  Colour variation in the glaze and clay body will differ from piece to piece due to the nature of the making and firing process.
